Who is Dominique Ansel?

Dominique Ansel is an Award-winning pastry chef, renowned for his innovation and creation in the pastry world. He has won many awards which include:
  • Named the World's Best Pastry Chef in 2017 by the World's 50 Best Restaurants awards
  • One of Business Insider's "Most innovative people under 40"
  • In 2015, bestowed the prestigious l'Ordre du Merite Agricole award for his accomplishments
  • Vanity Fair named him one of the "50 most Influential French"
  • Daily Mail UK claimed him "the most feted pastry chef in the world"
He has strived through his career to bring a refreshing approach the world of desserts. He is most known for his creation of the Cronut, which is a signature croissant-doughnut hybrid pastry that launched at his Eponymous Bakery in New York. 

Fortunately, Dominique Ansel's Bakery has two franchises in Japan, located in Omotesando and Ginza. If you come to Japan, you must definitely try it!
