Just
when you thought you knew about all the amazing places in the world. You don’t,
unless you have been to Japan. This is our travel guide to Japan – read, enjoy
it, act on it. We won’t excite you with too many facts (who are we kidding) –
solely important tips and the most incredible, tranquil and unique places for
you to explore. Here is just a snippet of the reasons why we love Japan. You
should definitely stay tuned to our blog posts every week where we explain in
detail of these places and more!
- Rich in culture
If you want to experience a different culture then you have come to the
perfect place. There are golden temples, ancient castles, shrines, samurai
houses, zen gardens and most importantly, geishas to spot in the Gion district.
Takayama is the most traditional city of all, with original, still intact 18th
century Hida style houses. Also, head into the ancient district called Asakusa if
you’re in Tokyo.

- Traditional with a twist
From visiting relaxing ryokan houses, trying
traditional tea ceremonies and wearing customary kimonos to festivals, you will
certainly be fascinated by its many customs.

- Try the best foods
Without a doubt, food in Japan is phenomenal.
It has more Michelin restaurants than anywhere else in the world. Also, think about
sushi, sashimi, soba, udon, okonomiyaki, takoyaki, ramen and gyoza! Even the
convenient 7/11’s contains the most delicious and quality food that you won’t
believe.
- Shopping and fashion
Japan is possibly one of the largest
fashion places of the world. Head over to Harajuku to buy trendy and bizarre
pieces or Shibuya, which is the most famous shopping district. Ladies, did I
mention that there is an entire department store named 109, with 9 levels,
dedicated just for you?!
Hope you enjoy!
